My name is Brandon, and I graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia.
I believe in taking an evidence-based approach to support people in achieving their personal goals. I understand that physiotherapy goals vary depending on the individual, so I strongly believe in client-centred care where an individual has control of their care. I acknowledge there is a power dynamic between provider and client, and I aim to foster a safe environment based in respect, collaboration, and understanding.
I focus on a primarily exercise-based approach as research shows that this has the best evidence, though I am also able to offer manual therapy, soft tissue release, and taping, depending on what clients feel would work best for them. I most often work with people who work in an office and experience neck, shoulder, and/or lower back pain, though I also work with people who have experienced motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, sports injuries, and people who are going through post-surgical rehabilitation.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active outdoors through hiking, skiing, pickle ball, and golf.
I can provide services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
