Jamies passion for movement, science and human connection lead her to pursue Physiotherapy. She grew up in Ontario and completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at Western University. Jamie has an interest in Orthopaedics in addition to Physiotherapy in the acute setting. She has worked at St.Pauls hospital for over two years assisting patients with mobility post-operatively. She has worked with a range of clientele including people with acute neurological conditions, joint replacements, cardiac and respiratory illness and geriatric populations. She has also worked as a Personal Trainer over the past 5 years using exercise to assist with injury prevention. With these experiences, her approach to Physiotherapy is multi-dimensional with emphasis on education, manual therapy and exercise to achieve goals.
“Movement is often an overlooked aspect of our daily lives until we are injured. It is a privilege to help people gain awareness of their body”.
Since moving to the West Coast, she has picked up activities such as hiking, skiing and cycling. Jamie enjoys travelling and has backpacked throughout many countries over the years - Croatia, amongst them all is her favorite.
