Susan’s fascination with the human body stems from a lifelong passion in sports and health. Volleyball, golf, and tennis rank amongst her favourite and current activities. These interests helped create the path towards her career in massage therapy. She graduated in 1999 from the 3-year program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver and has been in private practice since. She has worked in collaboration with medical doctors (family and traditional chinese), chiropractors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, kinesiologists, and fellow massage therapists.
Susan believes in a holistic approach to her massage therapy treatments. She looks at the body as a whole, rather than treating symptoms only. She appreciates the value of integrating multiple disciplines and educating her clients to achieve the best possible results. Susan’s primary techniques include, but are not limited to, neuromuscular (i.e. deep tissue), myofascial, sports, and swedish. Since the needs of most individuals are uniquely different, so are their treatment plans for each treatment.
