Len has been registered with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia. He graduated with honors from the University of Queensland in Australia in 2002. He has since worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy private practice treating a wide array of individuals. As an extension of his clinical work, he is also a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor through Dance Medicine Australia, a certified Acupuncturist with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and qualified in Functional Dry Needling (Intramuscular Muscular Stimulation) through KinetaCore, USA.
Len has a particular interest in sport performance optimization through bio mechanical analysis and strength and conditioning training. He has had the opportunity to work with a number of professional tennis players, Olympic air rifle shooting and gymnastics athletes, professional Australian Rules Football teams and Australian and Canadian national gymnastics teams. Most recently, he had the opportunity to travel with the Canadian National Climbing team as their representative physiotherapist at the 2018 Climbing World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria.
In his spare time, Len has a passion for the outdoors. Over the past two decades, rock climbing has been a mainstay of his active endeavors. It has become an inspiration for travel, highlighted most recently by an accent of The Nose on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, a lifelong goal. In addition, his weekends are spent coaching competitive indoor rock climbing. When not climbing, Len also enjoys alpine and back country skiing, hiking, cycling and motorcycling.
